¿Lena Dunham es una persignada?

Girls podrá ser muy aventada sobre el
sexo en su generación, pero la niña genio de la comedia, Lena Dunham, sigue
molesta sobre la parodia porno de su exitosa serie de culto en HBO. 

“Cuando salió”, dice, “me
llegaron muchos tweets diciendo que
seguramente me sentía muy halagada, que sabes que ya la hiciste cuando alguien
te hace una burla en porno. Y al principio sentí una presión social por
llevarla bien y reírme. Pero luego me puse a pensar y la verdad es que si eres
una mujer con la suerte de lograr que tu voz sea escuchada, creo que es
importante también decir, ‘¿Sabes qué? No. De hecho no se me hace chistoso’.

 “Y yo, como sabes, encuentro
muchas cosas perversas muy chistosas, de ahí viene todo el programa. Pero lo
que estamos intentando hacer es un esfuerzo por luchar contra lo que la
combinación de Hollywood y la pornografía han hecho con el entendimiento de la
gente sobre el sexo.  Así que lo que
queremos hacer con el show es exactamente lo opuesto a lo que hace la
pornografía. Y te aseguro que no soy Andrea Dworkin, una feminista
anti-pornografía, yo sigo averiguando mi relación con esas cosas.

“Pero sí sé que el ver a los
personajes que yo creé con tanto amor y cuidado ser usados en esa forma, me
pareció muy desorientador. No quiero condenar a nadie, simplemente quiero
decir, ‘hey, chicos, no a todos nos parece que el halago más grande que
existe’. Fue increíble. Algunas de las respuestas fueron de agradecimiento,
algunas fueron de gente que me llamó una santurrona sin sentido del humor. Y
digo, mira, si fuera una mojigata no estaría tanto tiempo desnuda en la tele”.

¿Alguien la llamó santurrona? Me
pregunto si habrán visto aquel episodio sobre la eyaculación

GIRLS may be pretty daring about sex among her generation but
comedy wunderkind Lena Dunham is still steaming about the porn spoof of her
cult hit HBO series. “When that came out,” she says, “I was getting so many
Tweets like ‘You must be so flattered, once you get a pornographic spoof of
your show you know you’ve really made it.’ And at first I felt like there was
some societal pressure to laugh and be the good times gal about it. But then I
thought, you know what, If you’re a woman who’s lucky enough to have your voice
heard in that way, I think it’s really important to kind of say no, I actually
don’t think this is funny. And I, as you know, think a lot of really perverse
stuff is funny, hence the genesis of this entire show. But what we’re actually
trying to do is make an effort to kind of fight what the combination of Hollywood
and pornography have done to peoples’ understanding of sex  – and so what our show is aiming to do is
exactly in opposition to what a porn film is doing.  And rest assured I am not like Andrea
Dworkin, an anti-porn feminist, I’m still figuring out my relationship to that
stuff. But I do know that for me seeing situations and characters that I’ve
created with sort of love and care reused in that way definitely was
disorienting – and so I wasn’t trying to condemn anyone, I just wanted to say ‘hey,
guys, not everybody thinks this is the greatest compliment that can happen to
you.’  It was amazing. Some of the
responses I got were grateful, some of the responses I got were people saying
like sort of like you’re a humorless prude. And I feel like well, if I was
really a prude I wasn’t be naked on TV so much … “

Someone called her a prude? Can’t help but wonder, did they
see the episode about the ejaculation?
