Primero fue el eterno soltero George Clooney quien le rompió el corazón a fans alrededor del mundo cuando se casó recientemente. Y ahora el popular actor británico, Benedict Cumberbatch, está comprometido. La noticia no salió a través de un publicista, sino con un aviso a la antigua en el periódico. La estrella de Sherlock siempre ha sido un tipo privado y logró mantener su relación con la actriz y directora Sophie Hunter lejos de los reflectores hasta hace poco aunque se conocieron en el 2009 en la película Burlesque Fairytales.Cumberbatch siempre ha respondido a las preguntas sobre su vida privada con una declaración amable pero firme: «¿Por qué tengo que contestar preguntas personales en público?».
Bueno, pues el secreto ya salió y muchas chicas (al igual que varios chicos) llorarán la pérdida de su soltero de fantasía favorito. Mientras tanto, Cumberbatch está teniendo un mes excelente gracias a su actuación en The Imitation Game, la cual ya está generando buzz de Oscar y pronto llegará a las pantallas.

First it was diehard bachelor George Clooney breaking the hearts
of fans around the world when he tied the knot recently. And now popular
British heartthrob Benedict Cumberbatch is engaged – the news released not
through the usual Hollywood way using a third party publicist but with a classy
old-school formal newspaper announcement. Always a private kind of guy, the Sherlock
star managed to keep his romance with actress/director Sophie Hunter fairly
under the radar until recently, though they first met in 2009 on the movie
Burlesque Fairytales. Cumberbatch has usually responded to prying questions
about his private life with a polite but clear, “Why do I have to answer
questions about my personal like in public?”
Well, it looks like the cats out of the bag now, as girls
(and probably more than a few guys) weep over the loss of their favorite
fantasy bachelor. Meanwhile Cumberbatch is having quite a month, with his
Oscar-buzz performance in The Imitation Game just about to hit the big screen.
