La noche del domingo 11 de enero se llevó a cabo la entrega No. 72 de los Golden Globe Awards desde el Beverly Hilton Hotel. Con la amena conducción de Amy Poehler y Tina Fey, la divertida velada convocó a elenco, productores y cineastas del mundo del cine y la TV.
