OK, quizá no sean 50 sombras de Dakota Johnson, quizá sólo se trata de un vistazo a quién es esta joven actriz. Sin duda, todos están hablando de ella y su erótica nueva cinta, 50 sombras de Grey. Aquí algunas cosas que dijo sobre sí misma cuando nos sentamos a platicar sobre su atrevido papel y el legado de su familia hollywoodense (es hija de Melanie Griffith y Don Johnson y nieta de Tippi Hedren, quien protagonizó Los pájaros de Alfred Hitchcock). 

«Creo que el cuerpo femenino desnudo es la cosa más hermosa. La gente le tiene miedo a la desnudez, pero creo que las mujeres deberían sentirse más cómodas consigo mismas y no estar avergonzadas de su cuerpo. Yo crecí en un ambiente en el que me fomentaron el estar cómoda conmigo misma. Mis padres me educaron con mucha confianza en mí misma. Tanto mi mamá como mi abuela son 2 mujeres que tuvieron carreras de actriz algo sorprendentes y lograron hacer declaraciones fuertes en el cine. Espero tener muchas de sus cualidades. Quiero pensar que tengo algo de la fortaleza y gracia de mi abuela. Ella es la mujer más elegante que conozco. Y mi mamá es inteligente y chistosa y me gusta pensar que a veces yo también lo soy. Ellas me apoyan completamente con esta película. Entienden que es un trabajo, que estoy actuando, entienden que no voy a hacer esto todo el tiempo. Mi papá también me apoya al 100%. Él no la va a ver (riendo). Digo, ninguno de ellos la va a ver. Sin duda, ¡yo no quisiera que la vieran!»

OK maybe it’s not 50 Shades of Dakota Johnson, maybe it’s just a glimpse of who this fresh young actress really is. Certainly everyone is talking about her – and her erotic new movie 50 Shades of Grey. So here are a few words she had to say about herself, when we sat down together recently to talk about her risqué role and the legacy of her Hollywood dynasty family
(mother Melanie Griffith, father Don Johnson and grandmother Tippi Hedren, who
starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds.)

“I think the naked female body is the most beautiful thing.
People get afraid of nudity, but I think women should be more comfortable with
themselves and not ashamed of their bodies. I was brought up in an environment
where I was told to be comfortable with myself. My parents instilled
self-confidence with me. Both my mother and my grandmother are two women who
have had sort of shocking female actress careers and they have made these profound
statements in film. I hope I have a lot of their qualities. I would like to
think that I have a bit of my grandmother’s strength and grace. She’s the most
graceful woman that I ever met in my life. And my mom is smart and funny and I
would like to think that I am funny sometimes. And about this film, they just
support me completely. They understand that it’s a job, they understand that
it’s acting, they understand that it’s not like I am going to do this all the
time. And my father is completely one-hundred percent supportive. He’s not
going to see it (laughing). I mean, none of them are going to see it. I certainly
wouldn’t want to see them do this
movie!”
