El poder secreto de Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson y Mark Ruffalo estaban hablando sobre quién tiene qué super poder en la vida real. Se supone que tendríamos que estar hablando de Avengers y sus respectivos papeles como Black Widow y Hulk, pero ya saben cómo son estos actores… siempre quieren hablar de su vida personal.

(Sí, claro, cómo no…)

Mark: ¿Cuál es mi super poder de la vida real?

Scarlett: ¿Poder?

M: Uno de tantos tuyos…

S: ¿Míos?

M: ¿Observar?

S: ¿Qué? (Ríe) No… no sé. Voy a dejar que tú empieces y te sigo. ¿Cuál es tu poder más grande?

M: Puedo desaparecer en el mundo de una forma en que creo que la mayoría de los actores no pueden. Literalmente puedo meterme al metro y no ser reconocido, lo cual es un gran logro a estas alturas. Ese es mi súper poder. El desaparecer. 

S: De hecho, te sorprenderías. A mí casi no me reconocen. Creo que la gente cree que soy mucho más alta de lo que soy. No ven por lo chica. No sé. No sé qué súper poder tenga.

M: El encanto.

S: ¡Exacto! (Ríe) El poder del encanto. No… no sé.

M: Super actriz. Eres una súper actriz.

S: Puedo recordar muchas líneas a la vez. Muchas, muchas, mucha páginas. Ese siempre ha sido una especie de poder. Y hago una frittata muy buena. Eso es.

So one day Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo are sittin’
around talking about who has what super power, in real life. Well we are
supposed to be talking about the Avengers, and their roles, respectively, as
Black Widow and Hulk, but you know how these actors are, always wanting to talk
about their personal lives. (hahahahaha, as if…)

Mark: What’s my biggest super power that I have in life? 

Scarlett: Power?

M: One of your many.

S: One of my many powers?

M: Observation?

S: Wait what? (Laughs)… I… I don’t know. I’m going to let
you start with that one, Mark and I’m going to follow you. What’s your greatest
power?

M: I can disappear into the world in a way that probably
most actors can’t. Literally, I can walk onto a subway and not be recognized at
all, which at this moment in time is a feat in itself. That’s my superpower, to
disappear, at will.

S: You’d be surprised actually, I often don’t get recognized
either. I think people think I’m a lot taller than I am. They’re always looking
above me. Yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know what my power is.

M: Charm.

S: Exactly (laughs). The power of charm. I… I don’t know.

M: Super-Acting. You’re a super-actress.

S: I can remember a lot of lines at one time. Like many,
many, many pages. That’s always been a bit of a power. And I make a mean
frittata. So there you go.
