Regla nombrada por la común (aunque ilógica) escena en que un personaje se encuentra acostado o sentado en el piso, a una distancia considerable del villano, y aún así logra alcanzarlo con un golpe en la cara.

“If I’ve learned anything from the great film-makers I’ve worked with, says Ryan Gosling, “it’s that they when you’re a film-maker you have no place to hide. It’s the most exposing place you can be. As an actor you can hide behind your role or the fact that you didn’t direct it or write it or cut it but when you’re the film-maker and especially if you’ve written it, the film will say everything about you. So it’s probably best not to emulate anyone and just to be yourself because it’s really the only thing that you know how to be.”

Cuando estamos viendo la escena de una película o comercial siendo filmados dentro de una cinta, la manera y el momento de darnos cuenta de esto es cuando el director interrumpe y molestamente grita frases del tipo: “¡corte, corte!”.
