Bradley Cooper es un chico bueno, modesto, humilde, chistoso y OK, muy lindo. Y desde ¿Qué pasó ayer?, es una estrella de primer nivel y todo lo que eso representa: acosado por fans, presentando en los Oscares, incluso saliendo con otra gran actriz, Renee Zellweger (aunque de eso no habla). ¿Toda esta atención se le está subiendo a la cabeza, especialmente ahora que es estrella de acción en el remake del show Los magníficos?

?"¡Mi ego está peor! –dice riendo–. Porque mírame. Ya ni siquiera me parezco a eso, en términos de mi físico. Y nunca voy a ser tan rudo como con un arma amarrada con un cinturón de 300 municiones. Pero fue genial, de hecho me sirvió mucho para levantar mi confianza en mí mismo. Hay algo muy satisfactorio en ponerte en forma para un papel, al contrario de prepararte de alguna otra forma menos física y mucho más mental. Recuerdo cuando Joe Carnahan habló conmigo cuando me dio el papel, me dijo, ‘Sabes hermano, quiero que lo hagas, pero tienes que ponerte más grande, tienes que verte como si pudieras manejarte tú solo’. Y le dije, ‘Ah, no te preocupes’. Me contestó: ‘No, no, ya vi tu cuello. Ya vi tu cuello flaco’. Así que cuando filmamos, Joe me llevó al monitor para ver una escena en la que salgo de un cuarto de bronceado, y vi a Face salir como un especimen perfecto de lo que es un soldado del A-Team. Vi eso y pensé okay, me da mucho gusto que me haya hecho hacer eso porque cambió todo: la forma en que me manejaba, la forma en que caminaba, y podía físicamente meterlo en la pantalla".
 
Y luego, después de una pausa, dice sonriendo: "Y ahora, de regreso a la normalidad".

Bradley Cooper is a nice guy – humble, down to earth, funny and OK, cute as hell. And since The Hangover, he’s an “A-list” movie star and all that goes along with that– mobbed by fans, presenting at the Oscars, even dating an A-lister – Rene Zellweger (but he won’t talk about that.) So is all of this attention going to his head, especially now that he’s an action star in a remake of the hit TV show, The A-Team?

“It’s made my ego worse!” he laughs out loud. “Because just look at me. I don’t even resemble that in terms of my physique anymore. And I’ll never be as tough without a gun strapped around me with a 300-round ammo combat load. But it was wonderful, it was actually confidence building at the time – there’s something really satisfying about getting in shape for a role as opposed to preparing in another way that’s not physical as much as mental. I remember when Joe Carnahan had a conversation with me when he cast me, he said, “You know, brother, I want you to do it but you’ve got to get bigger, you’ve got to look like you can handle yourself.” And I was like, “Oh don’t worry about it,” And he goes, “No, no, I saw your neck. I saw your skinny neck.” So when we were shooting Joe brought me to look at the monitor at a scene where I come out of the tanning booth, seeing Face as this sort of ultimate specimen of an A-Team soldier. And I looked at that and though okay, I’m so glad he made me do that because it changed everything, the way I held myself, the way I walked, and I could physically see that work on the screen.”

And then a long pause, grinning. “And now, back to normal.”
