Eso trae a colación una pregunta: ¿tienes que ser fan de los deportes para ver una película sobre el tema? ¿O una historia es buena sin importar el mundo en que se desarrolle? ¿Viste Moneyball por el béisbol, o porque salen Brad Pitt y Jonah Hill?
Ahora otros dos de nuestros actores favoritos hacen equipo en una película sobre béisbol. Para ser preciosos, sobre un buscador de talentos. El título: Trouble with the Curve. Actúan Clint Eastwood y Justin Timberlake, y Amy Adams encarnará a la hija de Clint.
La dirección corre a cargo de Robert Lorenz, quien desde hace mucho es el socio de Clint como productor. Será interesante ver cómo le va a Timberlake, quien ha evolucionado como actor a paso seguro, junto al veterano Eastwood. ¿Qué opinan?
As we head into Super Bowl Weekend here in the States, even people with no interest in the game seem to be talking about, and looking forward to, the halftime show. So that begs the question – do you have to be a sports fan to watch a film about sports? Or is a good story a good story no matter what the setting? Did you go see Moneyball because of baseball, or because of Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill?
Now another two favorite actors are teaming up for a baseball movie – a baseball talent scout story to be exact, called Trouble With the Curve –starring Clint Eastwood and Justin Timberlake, with Amy Adams as Eastwood’s daughter, and to be directed by Eastwood’s long time producing partner Robert Lorenz.
It will be interesting to see how Timberlake, who has been steadily evolving as a serious actor, will do next to the veteran Eastwood. What do you think?
