¡Listo el conteo hacia los Golden Globes 2015! Hoy es el día. Es un día lluvioso y mojado y otra vez nos enfrentamos a una alfombra roja mojada. Pero esta vez estamos preparados. La carpa de plástico ya está en su lugar y a estas alturas ya todas las estrellas deberían saber que no se pueden poner nada que no aguante un poco de agua… incluyendo el spray de pelo.
¿Y qué de la ceremonia misma? ¿Cómo funciona? ¿Cómo pueden ensayar los técnicos, si en el teatro todavía no están las estrellas? Eso se hace con «stand-ins» de los presentadores, es decir, gente que se para en el escenario donde irán aquellos que entreguen premios y con cartulinas con donde irán sentados los famosos para que las cámaras sepan dónde estarán. En la tele todo luce muy grandioso y sobrecogedor, pero en la vida real es una habitación bastante íntima con muchas risas y camaredería. Y sí, mucho alcohol. Siempre ha sido la mejor fiesta de la temporada de premios.
Además de una habitación llena de celebridades nominadas y las anfitrionas Amy Poehler y Tina Fey, los presentadores de este año incluyen a Benedict Cumberbatch (también nominado), Oprah Winfrey, J-Lo, Prince, Jared Leto, Chris Pratt, Ricky Gervais, Salma Hayek, Kevin Hart, Robert Downey Jr, y las dos jóvenes estrellas de 50 Shades of Grey, Dakota Johnson y Jamie Dornan al igual que muchos otros.

Countdown to the 2015 Golden Globes! Today’s the day – the rainy day, the wet red carpet day, here we go again. But this time we’re prepared, the plastic tenting is in place, and any movie star should know by now not to wear anything (including hair spray!) that can’t survive a little water.
And what about the ceremony itself, how does it all work, how can there be tech rehearsals for camera and crew when the stars aren’t actually there the day before the big event? Well, it’s done with stand-ins for the presenters, and as you can see below, the cameras can see where the stars will be sitting, with these cardboard photo cards. On your TV screen the ceremony looks big and overwhelming, but in person, the room is actually pretty intimate, a lot of familiarity and laughter. OK, and booze. It’s still the best and most fun party of the awards season.
Besides a roomful of celebrity nominees and hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, this year’s presenters include luminaries like Benedict Cumberbatch (also a nominee), Oprah Winfrey, J-Lo, Prince, Jared Leto, Chris Pratt, Ricky Gervais, Salma Hayek, Kevin Hart, Robert Downey, jr, and the two young stars of 50 Shades of Grey, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan- among many many more.
