«Dios.

No habrá spoilers hoy.

Andrew Lincoln told me to ask you about your fans,” is the
first thing I say to Norman Reedus when we get together the other day. “He said
I should speak to you about the quality of your fan mail.”

The Walking Dead star grins. “Oh God. Andy comes in my room
all the time. He spends more time in my trailer than his own trailer and we sit
there like Beavis and Butthead and talk about everything. Like, everything, and
he likes to go through my fan mail.  And
I get crazy stuff.”

“Like what?”

He laughs out loud. “A lady sent me her used breast implant.
She said she read an interview and it sounded like I was depressed and that she
thought I should have it. So it’s my phone cradle in my trailer. But seriously, they send everything from weird sex
toys to really uplifting personal things like I get Special Olympic gold medals
that kids won, a lot of the fan mail is from people who have gone through chemo
or are dealing with breast cancer or something and they have action figures or
posters up in their hospital rooms. So, a lot of my fan mail is really
uplifting and will say, ‘You helped me get through chemo,’ and stuff like that.
Then there are different fan groups. There are girl groups with many members
around the world – like Darryl’s Dolls and Norman’s Nymphos, Dixon’s Vixens, there’s
probably 20 of these different groups. I think they should start a roller derby
league or something. So yeah for the most part its very uplifting fan mail,
very positive stuff, and then every once in awhile I get the weird crazy stuff.

“Like a breast implant.”

“Yeah that was the craziest.”

Of course I beg for hints about the show’s next season, what might be up for Daryl Dixon and Rick Grimes, but Reedus just crosses his arms and gives me a blank deadpan stare. No spoilers today. I guess if he told me he’d have to kill me.

OK readers: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever sent in a fan letter?
